Our Mission
The Denver Impact Fund is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering collaboration between the City and County of Denver, philanthropy, the private sector, and community organizations. Our mission is to unite these forces to create a measurable, lasting impact that addresses Denver’s most pressing civic challenges.
This nonprofit operates independently of the City and County of Denver’s structure but aligns closely with City and County of Denver priorities to ensure responsiveness, collaboration, and agility. It focuses on addressing urgent socioeconomic challenges and secures funding through grants and donations from corporations, foundations, and individuals. This model ensures that the Denver Impact Fund can respond promptly to emerging needs while maintaining alignment with the City and County of Denver's goals.
Governance
Our Board of Directors provides strategic oversight and direction, ensuring that every initiative is well-coordinated and every dollar is used effectively. The board meets bi-monthly and contributes expertise, resources, and network connections to advance our mission. Members include community, foundation and private sector leaders, nonprofit executives and independent experts.
